Wow!

I just looked at my blog on my new computer and it looks totally different! I didn't know the beach scene was there.  lol!  I knew my old computer (old, ha!  It's only 3 years old) was having issues, but now I realize that many of my struggles have been because of this. Oh, I feel better. Now maybe I get other gadgets to work.

  1. Looks like you are up and running with your new baby. How's it going? Are you happy with your purchase?

  2. Hi Holly! Yes, I'm happy with it but I've had a nightmare of a week with everything. Right now I'm trying to purchase MS Office but before I can do that I have to register and prove I'm an educator for my discount. My work email is only available on my old laptop, so I go to that one, then the email has to be sent to my gmail, then....you know how it is! So now I'm waiting for the download link to come in. Eventually I will get it all going. How have you been? I haven't seen much of your posts.

  3. Good for you for finally doing something for yourself. I recently bought a new laptop computer b/c I was unable to carry school work home and work on it (what was I thinking?). The technology age is wonderful for keeping in touch with friends and receiving the instant emotional support that women need.

    1. Tina, what you were thinking was to make your life easier. lol Recently, someone posted in out school's email lounge that iPhone or one of them had an app so that we could download something work related (can't remember what it was) and I commented something like "And why would we want to do that??" No one thought it was very funny. I think they've all lost their sense of humor now. And yes, the support we can get is like nothing we had before emails, facebook, and blogs!

  4. Technology is wonderful if it acts rights. It can be your best friend or your worst nightmare. Hope you are having sweet dreams with your new laptop.

    1. Thanks, Sherita. I'm still going back and forth between the two computers. All my links, emails, and comfort are on the old one. I am slowly getting more comfortable with the new one and getting apps loaded. I was able to get MS Office 2011 but that has changed, too!
